“May the life of the Immaculate take possession of us ever more, day by day, hour by hour, moment by moment, and this without any limitation, growing, in the same way, in every soul that exists and will exist for all time: behold our beloved ideal.” St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe OFM Conv.Leoniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11596513344737230084noreply@blogger.comBlogger143125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5585521199831410663.post-89167536395259706572015-08-05T23:33:00.001+10:002015-08-05T23:33:27.525+10:00St Maximilian and St FaustinaThese two great saints of Poland , through their spiritual legacy, left us in the 21st century, the charter of renewal for the Church in our times. This was ignited by that great saintly prophet of Poland, St John Paul II
The Divine Mercy and consecration to the Immaculata are pillars of Heaven's invitation of renewal to the Church!!! Let us not be deaf to this appeal from the dictates of God Almighty.

"O come Holy Spirit, through the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, let all Christians live their Baptismal consecration by immersing themselves in the Divine Mercy of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Eternal Father by the sorrowful Passion of Christ your Son, and through the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, deliver us from the seductions of the evil one, and let us place our hope in the Sacred Heart of your beloved Son, in whom we secure our salvation.
Immaculate Mother of God, St Joseph, St Michael and all the Heavenly company come to our aid and assist us with your powerful protection, that we may wash ourselves constantly in the Saving Blood and water of Jesus Christ Our Lord.
Peace in Jesus and Mary.
I have neglected this blog, now I hope to regularly write few words, in order to promote the mission of the Immaculata.
First of all let us prepare to celebrate the Feast of St Maximilian Kolbe and the Assumption of Our Lady by renewing our consecration to the Holy Mother of God,and renewing our desire to advance the Kingdom of the most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

By going to Confession, attending Holy Mass and Eucharistic Adoration, let us keep our souls in union with Our Lord.. Let us remember good spiritual reading; the Holy Bible , the catechism and lives of the Saints.
Let us do good works,( the corporal and spiritual works of mercy), to show our love for Christ and His Immaculate Mother.
Let us avoid sin especially, impurity, bad language, lying, and unkindness.
Let us remember moderation in our lifestyle, to assist the poor and remember to do penance for our sins and sins of the world.

Dear reader at "Our Garden of the Immaculate",here at Kellyville, we have all night adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament the last Friday night before the last Saturday, in our Chapel of the Holy Innocents, beginning at 8pm. In the Northern Hemisphere , spring is the season so flowers is popular in showing our love . Here in the Southern , winter , cold weather is our season, we still have flowers to offer with our prayers and devotion, but love is always inventive . Many a child , in innocent simplicity will adorn a beloved statue with piece of material , to warm the Mother . It maybe be childish from an adults point of view, but can you imagine how Our Holy Mother herself sees it . Our Beloved St Maximilian Kolbe called Our Lady , Mama with the True simple Love of a innocent childlike heart. Dear Max , help us find and truly love our Mama.BrLouisMaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05934945413562837115noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5585521199831410663.post-15906323637313520912014-05-09T19:00:00.001+10:002014-05-09T19:01:09.562+10:00Join the Militia of the Immaculata in Australia

Films , Movies , guest speakers and engaging discussions make the meet up enjoyable , thought provoking and a help in life decisions. The group are firm friends and venture out after the meeting for some fun and food.
They meet at 7pm every 1st Saturday of the Month , beneath the Shrine of the Holy Innocents , 8 Greyfriar Lane Kellyville,
It begins with Palm Sunday or Passion Sunday, the Gospel for this Sunday gives us a the whole account from Jesus's betrayal to His crucifixion and death and His being laid to rest in a borrowed tomb. Palms decorate our churches , we hold them in our hands to realise in a symbolic but tangible way Jesus's triumphant entry into Jerusalem , the people at that time were full of praise ,laying palms and their cloaks on the path before Jesus , who was riding a humble ass , a colt yet unridden , all rich with meaning , because God does all things well, nothing is by chance, those that look deeper in all the significance of the words of the Bible will find a wealth of spirituality , a view of God that is meant to bring us closer to Him , to turn from selfish ways and surrender all to Him .On reflection I found when troubles of this life became overwhelming , I prayed and searched for a way out , in the most subtle voice of a well formed conscience, my God answered, what He did in the body of Jesus, the incarnation , the day to day grind of living as a human being and all the troubles and hardships , culminating in the humiliating death of torture by crucifixion, was our salvation , without His Blood shed, we would not be freed from our slavery to sin.We cannot escape difficulties and troubles in this life, but what Jesus did was show how to deal with it so it doesn't overcome us, entering in the suffering , praying about it , doing what is possible in the situation but leaving what we can't do to Him , Almighty God, we are no longer in conflict, but with peaceful resignation accept what only God knows will be and what good can come from what appears to us a disaster . Isn't He the Head and we the Body of the Church, isn't the body in harmony with the head in a human body, so with Him as Master and Guide we do as He does.BrLouisMaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05934945413562837115noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5585521199831410663.post-58871921934747079952014-04-11T18:52:00.001+10:002014-04-11T18:53:04.949+10:00Holy Week

Our loving Father God , each year , through the Church offers us a powerful reminder to take a good look at our lives, see where we are falling short of true Christian lives , to repent , make penances , 'get back on track ' so to speak. Beginning with Ash Wednesday , ashes created from palms collected and burnt from the previous year 's Palm Sunday , marked on everyone's forehead in the form of the cross, whilst hearing the words ,'repent and believe in the Gospel ', or ' remember man that you are dust and to dust you shall return'.
This world is not the end all of all, remember man, woman , child this world is temporary and your true home is with The Holy Trinity and the whole celestial court in Heaven.
So take this opportunity so neatly and conveniently laid open for you , the season of repentance , lent .'lent is bittersweet' quoted from Fr Anthony Zahra OFM Conv,
Bitter with denial of self, the struggle and effort to turn away from ways contrary to the teachings of the Church.
Sweet because every reconciliation is full of Joy , every turn towards God and the right path is lined with heavenly sweetness.BrLouisMaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05934945413562837115noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5585521199831410663.post-50434883715820495642014-02-23T16:05:00.000+11:002014-02-23T16:05:55.470+11:00Listen to Him

Powerful words from Jesus to all of us of every generation , first received in the ears of his disciples and all who gathered to listen. Dear saint Maximilian Kolbe lived these words, he heard them and lived them, as many others and saints have down down the centuries. When Saint Maximlian felt the abuse ,the harsh treatment of his persecutors, he didn't retaliate , he prayed and in finality meekly held out his arm for the lethal injection that would close his life of witness of a loving Christ .He was the living example of Christ's love and mercy, he was love as Jesus is Love, a small drop of love immersed and indistinguishable in the infinite ocean of God's Love. Why this powerful example in our generation , our times where selfishness , materialism dominate, where a coward punch is justice for a unassuming bystander. Why because God loves us , he forgives us , he is mercy and calls us to Him through the witnesses of many saints like st Maximilian KolbeBrLouisMaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05934945413562837115noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5585521199831410663.post-71618409036285282882014-02-02T16:43:00.001+11:002014-02-02T16:43:59.789+11:00St Maximilian Kolbe

St Maximilian lived this, he gave his life for a friend who was also a stranger but to St Maximilian a person created in the image of God.
St Maximilian is a Hero of our times, a Champion of Christ, a shining Knight and humble servant of the Queen of Heaven.
He wore the two crowns given by Our Lady herself with heroic faithfulness even to his last act of charity in the starvation bunker when he forgave the doctor/executioner who gave him a lethal injection.
Spiritually he wore the white crown of purity, with a heart , soul , mind and body untarnished by the sins of this world and filled wholeheartedly with love of God and Our Lady and a driven zeal to spread the Gospel for the love of man .
Spiritually he wore the red crown of martyrdom , in the long hard years of ill health, travel in harsh conditions , a burning desire to bring all to Christ by devotion to the Handmaid of God , through the media of the times , newspapers , magazines , establishing working cities of our Lady filled with hundreds of like minded friars , praying and touching an unknown number of souls ,inspiring a true love of God and Our lady, culminating in his sacrificial death .
He became in death a example for us and for all times calling us to follow Christ .
What Joy was his when in closing his eyes in death opened them to the glories of Heaven and eternal peace in the bosom of God.
Frankincense a gift offered to the Holy, myrrh to embalm the dead, offered for His burial , that the three kings knew the significance of their gifts we don't know, but it makes us think what worthy gift can I offer the King. The holy family would have appreciated these gifts and used them as necessary and appropriate , but as Jesus is the King of the universe and God Almighty in perfect unity with the Trinity what can we offer ? He provides for us daily, yet in a humble childlike manner offering what he has given us is commendable. We offer ourselves, family , possessions, work , thoughts, joys, actions, dreams etc.
Let us always look to the Virgin Mary, His only Mother, His True loving Mother and first of all the disciples. She offered everything, nothing was held back from Him who had given her everything. When we look at the Immaculata we see a soul spotless , made in the image of God with no stain or blemish . Mary's soul was a pristine immaculate mirror reflecting perfectly the infinite Love of God. That is the best gift we could give a heavenly King, our Creator and our Saviour. God beckons , His mercy reaches out to us though His gift of Reconciliation , He encourages us to offer Him this ultimate gift to be pure and sinless in His presence , in imitation of our heavenly Mother Mary. Yes we are made of dust , we fall numerous times, are weak and have many faults and inclinations unworthy of God, still God calls us, tells us we can do it ! Strive to be the perfect gift to God , why do we doubt God , how can we not believe God's Words and encouragement in every line of the bible. The saints had no doubts concerning God , they believed in His Omnipotence , trusting even if standing on the precipice of hell. Contemplating Our Lady and the Saints where did they gain this trust ? The invincible desire to serve God even to the point of a martyr's end. In a nutshell , Love.
God loves us, He always has , why else did He create us each individually as we are if not because He already Loved us before creation , but to be a spotless soul , a pristine mirror reflecting His Love, the perfect gift, we must Love , begun by searching for Jesus, looking for Him everywhere , in His Word, the bible , prayer, in music, spiritual reading, in nature, in encounters with people , in the day to day of family life and so on. Until you find Him, Jesus , when you find Him you also find you have fell in love with Him, then you can only be a pure soul , because all your desires rest in Him, to turn from Him in sin would cause such sorrow it would never be repeated.
We must remember, yes we are limited in who we are, but God is infinite and we aspire to Him, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, we forget ourselves and our limitations , we'll find ourselves near Him, in Him, forever in love.BrLouisMaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05934945413562837115noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5585521199831410663.post-12395385952644733092014-01-05T14:08:00.001+11:002014-01-05T14:09:06.961+11:00The Epiphany of The Lord

Joy ! Joy !
Christmas is a time of Joy , Our Saviour is born .
The saints before us surely rejoiced in the Saviour's birth as our saint Maximilian Maria Kolbe would have done , celebrating with his confreres and reaching out to the world with the written word ,inspiring goodwill , peace amongst people.
Family is paramount at Christmas time, sharing feasts, gifts and company , so it should be, with always the new born infant Jesus, the centre and reason for our goodwill . Reality is many find Christmas and any major holiday a time of melancholy , stress, with no family or friends to share with, many families are broken , divided, where is the Prince of Peace for them ? The answer is He is there for them . Look and you will find Him! He is gazing at the lonely ones with such love in His eyes. He isn't oblivious to our troubles and suffering ,He is right there with us holding our hand , wiping away every tear. He came as the poorest not even a crib for a bed ,as the the beautiful carol proclaims.
Peace is for the taking, He is offering it to everyone without exception .
Remember Mama , so St. Maximilian called Our Lady , she in quiet joy and anticipation awaits Her Beloved , as the preface of Advent in the liturgy of the Mass tells us , she 'longed for Him with Love beyond all telling ' .
God Bless and peace in Christ !BrLouisMaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05934945413562837115noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5585521199831410663.post-51843693785088749272013-12-03T13:37:00.003+11:002013-12-03T13:38:24.698+11:00Advent

His Kingdom is a kingdom of servitude, love, peace, truth, life, holiness, grace and justice. He must reign in our lives , minds, wills and actions, drawing others into the kingdom by our total submission and desire of Christ, being love for others, revealing the face of the humble King to those that are in our lives.
Christ as King being first recognized by a fellow condemned criminal in his request, ' Jesus remember me when You come into Your Kingdom ', was rewarded with a promise of Paradise with Him that very day. Jesus in His abundance of generosity gave this thief more then he could dream of because he saw the majesty of Christ the King in a broken, suffering , condemned and dying criminal on the cross.
Such is Christ the King that they that believe and honour Him with sincere hearts are shown love infinitum.BrLouisMaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05934945413562837115noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5585521199831410663.post-14500402991262875302013-11-24T08:38:00.002+11:002013-11-24T08:39:05.732+11:00Christ the King
